Building a corporate CSR roadmap from scratch and creating the first sustainability report

This international company specialized in leasing and fleet management did not yet have an overarching CSR (corporate social responsibility) strategy. Our study department helped the CSR manager to delineate and focus on strategic ambitions and commitments. Because of the international scale (the organisation is active in 20 countries), it was a tough exercise to arrive at an ambitious and shared vision on sustainability that forms the foundation of the further CSR approach in the different countries where the company is active. The result is an authentic strategy based on five impact domains:
For each of these domains, we defined clear ambitions for 2025 together with the internal project team. This way, we worked out a roadmap together, which lays down clear targets and KPIs. The targets are measurable and SMART.
Finally, we converted these SMART objectives into reinforcing communication. A storyline, frameworks and clarifying infographics turn the CSR strategy into a practical document.
Once the CSR strategy was in place, we cut our teeth on the first sustainability report. The client could count on us for environmental consultancy, strategic copywriting and design. We were also at the helm for the content and layout of the infographics, which can also be used as standalone in other communications.
