Sustainability Reporting Consultant

Can’t wait to make an impact on the world yourself? At Pantarein, we are looking for a Sustainability Reporting Consultant to join our team.

Pushed by the urgency of the climate crisis and the belief that sustainability leads to resilience, we support businesses in becoming more sustainable. We do this by developing sustainability strategies and roadmaps, through non-financial reporting and sustainability communication. With our passionate 20-(wo)men team we deliver customised sustainability solutions to a broad range of industries. As our client portfolio is growing, we are currently expanding our team.

European legislation, financial parties, external stakeholders, employees: the green transition manifests itself from all sides. Therefore it is urgent for companies to develop and implement sustainability policies and roadmaps. As non-financial information is finding its way into boards, there is also a growing need for transparent reporting in compliance with the latest standards. Developing sustainability reports therefore is a key service of Pantarein.

You will support our clients to develop transparent and compliant reports from a to z. You don’t just deliver high-qualitative reports, but also manage the reporting process in close collaboration with the client. More specifically you:

  • Are the first point of contact for our reporting clients.
  • Guide our clients through the entire reporting process.
  • Carry out materiality analyses and set up the strategic framework.
  • Develop the report concept and structure in accordance with the chosen framework.
  • Support the client with setting KPIs and metrics.
  • Collect both quantitative data and qualitative information throughout the company.
  • Carry out interviews both at C- and expert level.
  • Support the client with interpreting impact and data trends.
  • Write the report.
  • Coordinate the graphic development.
  • Help and advise the client in communicating the report internally and externally.
  • Build and maintain relationships with our clients by guiding and unburden them at the same time.

You also challenge our clients to take their report to a higher level and to consider reporting as a journey. You carry out a gap analysis in line with the upcoming legislation. With your expertise you guide the client in their roadmap to become compliant.

You convince us with the following skills:

  • You are passionate about sustainable business, just like us.
  • You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in sustainability reporting.
  • You have good knowledge of the EU Green Deal and Taxonomy, the NFRD and CSRD, the concept of ESG and all relevant international reporting and disclosing frameworks like GRI, IIRC, SASB and TCFD.
  • You are on top of the developments in sustainability and reporting. You are willing to follow new evolutions and to study and catch up in this quickly growing domain.
  • You have large experience in copywriting in Dutch and English. French is a plus.
  • You are good with data and triggered by new evolutions in the field of non-financial dashboarding.
  • You are highly organised and an excellent project manager.
  • You like to work on different projects and tasks at the same time.

We are a new generation of sustainability experts with a passion for clear and substantiated communication. Founded as a content agency in 2001, we have grown into a leading player in sustainable strategies, non-financial reporting and sustainability communication. Multinationals and Belgian family businesses are happy to engage us because of our expert and personal approach.

We welcome you to our close-knit team of consultants and experts who are passionate about making the world a better place. We offer you an inspiring and dynamic working environment, where you can develop yourself and where there is room for initiative and entrepreneurship. We want to be and stay as authentic as possible and therefore we cherish our company culture:

  • Care for the climate – We work from a modern, almost energy-neutral office and three quarters of our people come to work by (electric) bike.
  • Cooperation – We work closely together, helping and supporting each other to bring projects to a successful conclusion. Every link in our company is equally important.
  • Innovation – The world of sustainability is developing at a rapid pace. We want to constantly challenge ourselves and keep an open mind. Everyone at Pantarein gets the space to contribute ideas, and we expect the whole team to think along about how we can continue to improve our company.
  • Flexibility – We actively monitor the balance between work and private life. You will have the possibility to work partly from home. We also expect flexibility and commitment from you.
  • Fair and pleasant working conditions – Pantarein offers a competitive salary and a range of extra-legal benefits, a modern workplace in a green environment, cheerful lunches, internal training via our Pantarein Academy and regular drinks and parties in our beautiful company garden.

Are you currently working in sustainability, but do you want to have more impact by supporting different businesses in various sectors? Are you willing to work in a smaller (20 people) but strongly purpose-oriented company that is a reference in the world of sustainability? Are you ambitious, focused on collaboration and intrinsically driven by a greener and fairer future?

We look forward to connecting with you! Don’t hesitate to contact our CEO Katelijne Norga at 0473 37 18 75 if you have questions about this exciting job. Or apply immediately before the 20th of July via
