Sustainability Strategy Consultant

European legislation, financial parties, external stakeholders, employees: the green transition manifests itself from all sides. Therefore it is urgent for companies to develop and implement sustainability policies and roadmaps. As non-financial information is finding its way into boards, there is also a growing need to report transparently in compliance with the latest standards.

You will support our clients to shape sustainability strategies and roadmaps, to embed these into their business and organisation, and to develop transparent and compliant reports.

More specifically you will be working on:

• Exploring and defining the non-financial impacts of priority of our clients
• Consulting their stakeholders and to carry out materiality analyses
• Leading workshops at C-level to define their sustainability ambition levels, goals, commitments and targets
• Setting up their metrics (KPIs) and monitoring approach
• Developing and coordinating sustainability reports in line with the latest legislative standards and frameworks
• Installing data gathering and reporting processes within the clients’ organisation
• Facilitating the next steps towards implementing their sustainability roadmap, embedding it into their organisation and conveying it to their stakeholders

As you start working in a Pantarein-pillar in full expansion, you are also expected to spot and develop business opportunities. As a strategic consultant in the heart of our company you will get the chance to grow into the role of team lead after a training period.

You convince us with the following skills:

• You are passionate about sustainable business, just like us.
• You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in sustainability.
• You have good knowledge of the EU Green Deal, the EU Taxonomy, the CSRD, the concept of ESG and all relevant international reporting and disclosing frameworks like GRI, SASB and CDP.
• You are familiar with important sustainability concepts, certificates and accreditations.
• You have very strong spoken and written communication skills in Dutch and English and feel comfortable in presenting to groups. French is a plus.
• You are good with data and triggered by new evolutions in the field of non-financial dashboarding.
• You have a strong network and are connected with a variety of stakeholders active in sustainable business.
• You are highly organised and work autonomously, but you are a good collaborator too.
